Meet Victory 91.5’s Bryan Race

“God used Christian radio to change my life and now I want to spend my life making sure others hear about Jesus on the radio!” That pretty much sums up the trajectory I’ve been on since 1980. Shortly after placing my trust in the Lord as a 15-year-old, the Lord quickly opened up an opportunity for me on my local Christian radio station in Huntsville, Alabama to play the same music that was impacting me for others to hear. Since then I have worked at Christian stations in Montgomery, Alabama, Fort Smith, Arkansas, Fort Myers, Florida and Toccoa Falls, Georgia.

I was fortunate to come to faith in Christ and be discipled in a Bible Church. This gave me an understanding of how to study the Scriptures and apply the “Whole Counsel” of God’s Word in seeking to understand His will and live in a manner worthy of our “High Calling.” When you hear me on the radio, you’ll notice the centrality of God’s Word most every time I open the microphone.

Now that your former afternoon host Corrie Haynes has moved to the morning show, I’ll be holding down the afternoon time-slot until we find the right personality to permanently fill that shift. It’s been a privilege to serve the Lord and serve you over the last 4 years at Victory 91.5 and I’m looking forward to many more. When I’m not on the radio you’ll find me heading up our Donor Care Department. I enjoy communicating with our wonderful givers in person, by phone and through email.
